Software to streamline operations

Glass software developer Jotika Software will present its latest software solutions at Glasstec.

It will be the third Glasstec in a row that the company has attended, and it has become a key event on their calendar, the company said.

“This is still the world’s best glass exhibition,” Jotika Software’s managing director Brian Gold said. “Over the past six years we have been delighted to export our glass software technology to other countries. Glasstec is the perfect vehicle to showcase our software to a global market. It is also a wonderful time to meet with existing customers from the UK and abroad.”

Since the last Glasstec in 2016, Jotika has experienced rapid growth by expanding its customer base in the UK and overseas. Innovation is key to this success, the company said, as it is committed to investing in software enhancements and developing innovations in glass software technology, from improving and developing compelling user interfaces to building new tools to meet the growing demands of its customers.

This year, Jotika has seen a considerable increase in the need for its clients’ glass software to streamline operations and extract critical business data collected from our advanced sales and production software.

“Jotika has undertaken some very exciting projects over the last few months, including advancing our SQL Dashboard Software and our Advanced Shape Designer with automated DXF hole/cut-out/notch recognition,” Brian said. “This tool will convert a DXF file into the Gtrak3 system and map it automatically to macros and tooling configured for individual CNC machine requirements.”

Due to the company’s expanding customer base, Jotika recently took on an experienced product and support manager, James Kelly.

James previously worked on large software projects for the NHS and comes with a strong background in IT systems management, and web and app development. James recently introduced a new support management system that has helped to improve the control and analysis of support and help desk queries.

Jotika has also recently moved into new modern premises that host a development and support centre, training room and recreational facilities.

“Things are on the up and the Jotika Software team look forward to a successful show this year and welcoming all customers and visitors who would like to know more about how our solutions can help,” Brian said.
