DoorCo launches self-service portal

DoorCo has launched a self-service portal for customers to access live orderbook details and manufacturing updates.
Sion Buckley, technology manager, explained: “Our newly developed self-service portal is accessible via the front page of our usual ordering portal and provides customers with the ability to view their live order book for real time updates on their orders, as well as view their past manufacturing orders and upcoming delivery schedule.
“The aim is to reduce the time customers have to wait for order updates and although our customer service team remains on-hand for specific enquiries or further information, this new portal allows customers to access their information directly, saving time.
“The new system supports orders from our entire range. This first phase of development has now been launched to customers who are beginning to enjoy the benefits, and the team is currently working on the next phase of features to be added,” he continued.
“Alongside the launch of the new portal, our customers continue to enjoy the features offered by the Touch Portal, including the BM Touch door designer, dealer network enquiries and resource centre. The Touch Portal provides a range of features that better connects our customers with theirs.”
