A giant Ultimate Rose sash window manufactured by Buckinghamshire-based Roseview has become the biggest to ever pass PAS24 and Secured by Design testing, the company said.
Measuring 1,500 by 3,000mm, the product dwarfs anything the fast-growing fabricator has ever tested before.
Company sales director Richard Burrells said: “Testing a product this big was always going to be risky – but we had faith in our design and the skill and expertise of our fabricators, and thankfully it paid off.
“That such slim sections of profile – including the slimmest meeting stile on the market, just 35mm in width – can safely support so much glass is a testament to the product’s amazing strength.
