Supplied ready-to-fit by Window Warehouse, Leka is a lightweight tiled, solid conservatory roof system to replace glazed roofs.
Installers can complete conservatory refurbishments and glazed extensions in a matter of days.
“The Leka roof can typically be installed in just two to three days,” Malcolm Cake, managing director at Window Warehouse, said. “Leka roofs are made to measure at our manufacturing facility in Portsmouth and are cut to size ready to fit.
“The system is JHIA Approved for Building Regulation compliance, so there’s no need for any lengthy planning application processes. Installers can measure up, order the roof, fill in the building certificate forms and then be on and off site in a couple of days.”
The Leka tiled roof system has a U-value of 0.15W/m2K, keeping the heat in during the winter and the sun out in the summer months.
The solid roof system is the only one that is manufactured from a lightweight, glass-reinforced plastic ring beam and rafters, so it is half the weight of a typical solid roof replacement. This makes it perfect for refurbishing conservatories, as it can be fitted onto all PVCU frames, and there is a choice of either Tapco Slate or Metrotile external roof finishes.
