Unique enjoys award success

Unique Window Systems has won the Growth Award at the LeicestershireLive Business Awards held in October.

Unique’s award, which was sponsored by global software engineering company, Mindera, recognises the company’s ‘phenomenal’ success and subsequent expansion. The business has seen its turnover surge from £20.8 million in 2020 to £39.2 million by December 2022.

It attributes this 100% growth to a focus on reinvesting back into its team and its operations, a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of quality, and its ability – as a business that proudly remains family owned – to deliver responsive and personable levels of service.

Unique now operates from multiple sites in Leicester and works with customers across the UK. Its team of over 300 colleagues fabricates a full suite of PVC-U and aluminium fenestration products.

The LeicestershireLive Business Awards are held annually and are staged in conjunction with the University of Leicester. Their purpose is to recognise those individuals and organisations from across the county whose achievements or positive impact on society can serve as an inspiration to others.

The award win is the latest in a succession of accolades for Unique Window Systems. It has also been recognised with a Leicestershire Business Award from the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, with a ranking on the UK Top 100 Fabricator / Installer list and with a listing on the Top 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain – a league table compiled by the London Stock Exchange Group.
