Tommy Trinder ‘a game changer’

Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024, Teignmouth based Windows of Distinction is a veteran of the industry. Andy Ford, company founder, recently shared insight on how quoting software from Tommy Trinder has ‘supercharged’ the company’s reputation and helped moved the business forward.

“Conversion rates have definitely improved with Tommy Trinder,” said Andy. “It’s been a game changer. The app gives us a big advantage competing with large companies, or any other company for that matter!

“Customers don’t really know what they’re getting with traditional methods. With Tommy, it’s far clearer,” he continued. “When they look at the quote, they can see exactly what they’re getting – colour and style of handle, the style of frame, the product, the glass – it’s all there and it’s all really, really clear.”

The team at Windows of Distinction is also said to have enjoyed significant time savings since using the software. Particularly, according to Andy, when bringing together products from multiple suppliers into one quote for homeowner, such as composite doors and PVC-U windows.

“Before Tommy Trinder, we’d be producing two quotations because they came from different places. Now, it’s all on one system, so it does make life a lot quicker,” he said.

Andy is the first to admit that he’s ‘not techy’ so he’s been pleasantly surprised at how quickly he and his team have taken to using the Tommy Trinder platform. “It’s so easy for us to use. Dragging, dropping, and changing the size of the windows, it’s very simple to do”.

The Tommy Trinder platform is subscription based and billed monthly.
