Ultraframe ‘hup!’ for two G Awards
The hup! lightweight building system from Ultraframe has been shortlisted for New Product of the Year and Customer Care Initiative of the Year at the ‘Industry Oscars’ – the G Awards.
Ultraframe marketing director, Alex Hewitt, said: “We’re thrilled that our hup! building system has been shortlisted for two G Awards. The system really is revolutionising the way that people extend their homes and transform old conservatories and to be given a chance to highlight this at such a prestigious industry event is a great honour.”
hup! uses highly energy efficient and BBA approved Ultrapanels in place of brick walls and can be combined with any Ultraframe roofing system to create any shape or style of extension. Entirely prefabricated with no cutting required on-site, and able to be built in any weather, hup! features unique rapid wall and roof connections.
According to Ultraframe, these features combine to make hup! five times faster to build than bricks and mortar, while its energy credentials mean that it offers five times the energy efficiency of the average UK home. The lightweight, slim nature of hup! walls means that full builds can take place on existing conservatory bases, with a typical increase in floor space of 10-15% vs. a traditional build.
Alex said: “While hup! offers numerous benefits as a product to both homeowners and builders, we are every bit as proud of the support we offer to users of the system. The support package is hugely comprehensive, covering everything from on-site support for first builds, through to nationwide training sessions, and an outstanding marketing support package, created with digital experts to help hup! users promote and sell the system.
“It is great news that hup! has been shortlisted for both New Product of the Year and Customer Care Initiative of the Year in recognition of both the product and the service package that underpins it. On behalf of Ultraframe, I would like to say a huge congratulations to all of the other shortlisted companies, and best of luck on what I’m sure will be a fantastic evening.”
