Roseview up for G23 Fabricator of the Year

Sash window manufacturer, Roseview Windows, has been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Fabricator of the Year category at the G23 Glazing Awards.

This follows a year of significant expansion and modernisation at the Olney-based manufacturer, centred upon improving leadtimes, efficiency and customer service.

“The G Awards represent the pinnacle of achievement in our industry, and we’re delighted and proud to be short-listed,” said Roseview’s managing director Richard Burrells. “Selection as one of just six finalists in the Fabricator of the Year category is an achievement in itself, and testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff over the last 18 months.

“We identified the need to modernise the business in 2019. Like so many other companies we had to change our priorities during 2020 and 2021, but when things returned to normal in 2022 we launched a comprehensive programme of improvements. Being shortlisted as a finalist at the G23 Awards is an unexpected bonus,” Richard continued.

Roseview’s programme included significant investment in its manufacturing facility, new end-to-end software and a wide-scale restructuring that places customer service at the heart of their operation.

To date, Roseview has invested £2million in plant and machinery, including two bespoke machine centres and three fully-automated CNCs, leading to increased capacity and significantly reduced leadtimes.

At the same time Roseview has implemented an entirely new software system, based on barcode scanning throughout the factory and logistics operations. This in turn provides Amazon-style customer notifications, starting when an order is placed and providing regular updates through manufacturing and into delivery, culminating in a pre-notified two-hour delivery slot.

“Roseview has always been known for outstanding sash windows,” commented Richard, “but continuous growth combined with outdated systems caused us to lose some of our edge on customer service. Over the last 18 months we’ve implemented an ambitious plan to thoroughly modernise the business, transforming us from traditional fabricator to modern, high-tech manufacturer of high-end PVC-U sash windows, with a renewed focus on supporting our customers.
