Joined up offering from The Consultancy

Konic Doors, a manufacturer of timber doors based in Ireland, has chosen a ‘one stop shop’ digital solution from The Consultancy, with an online door designer, a pricing and quoting portal for trade customers, and now a newly developed lead generation website.

The company is applying a marketing model to promote its range of solid insulated timber doors to both trade and retail customers.

Norman Ormiston, from Konic Doors, explained: “We approached the team at The Consultancy to create the kind of bespoke door designer which we had already seen being used extensively for composite and PVC doors. From the outset, they impressed us with their in-depth knowledge of the window and door market and their technical expertise; and the result has given us a real USP in the sustainable timber door sector.

“It is consistently generating warm leads from homeowners and that is proving really valuable as we look to recruit new trade partners across Ireland and into the UK.”

Once The Consultancy had created the bespoke designer for Konic, it also created an integrated tool for trade customers which lets them log in to create their own designs and quotes using their pre-agreed pricing structures. They can also add a branded version of the Konic designer to their own websites if they prefer.

Norman added: “The joined up offering from The Consultancy meant the next logical step was for them to redevelop our website as well and we’re delighted with what they have delivered. They gave us really valuable advice and insight in terms of design and content, with the focus very much on inspirational images and communicating the quality inherent within our brand. The user experience has been transformed and we’re seeing that in terms of the level of engagement and the number of enquiries we’re generating.”
