Thermoseal was named Export Champion of the Year at the Amazon Growing Business Awards.
Speaking after picking up the award, Gwain Paterson, Thermoseal’s managing director, said: “Our products are exported around the world from our [sites] in Birmingham [and Wigan] and it’s fantastic that our efforts have been recognised through these prestigious awards for SMEs and entrepreneurs. I’d like to dedicate this award to the team in Birmingham [and Wigan] and take this opportunity to thank them for their continued support.”
Doug Gurr, Amazon’s UK country manager, said: “Small businesses are the backbone of Britain, and so it’s immensely inspiring to hear such a number of success stories, showing that creative ideas and relentless drive is found around the country.”
