Formal partnership
Supalite Tiled Roof System has formed a partnership with JHAI, which covers both system approval for its products and building control approval.
Supalite’s operations director Steve Hacking said: “We have been working with [JHAI] for a number of years now on building control approval side, but recently decided to only recommend JHAI as our partner for building control certification. This ensures all our customers, including our fabricators, can offer certification for their own retail installations along with certification for supply-only roofs for their trade customers.
“Their response and their approach to business is the same as ours: they want to make things happen, and happen in a way which makes the ultimate customer journey easier and faster while still giving them the assurance that their roof products are fully compliant with all appropriate regulations.”
JHAI handles initial notice, plan checking and site inspections, through to final certificate.
