A commercial advantage from Epwin

Epwin Window Systems is highlighting the benefits available to its approved commercial partners (ACPs) via its Connect digital platform.

One of the benefits that is said to be proving particularly valuable, especially in terms of lead generation, is free access to Barbour ABI, the provider of construction intelligence and building project leads.

The in-house Barbour ABI team tracks every planning application and thousands of non- planning projects across the UK to deliver market insight, up-to-date construction leads and industry data.

Its construction database is regularly updated with relevant decision-maker contact details, project stage and location, build values and the type of materials being specified on site to deliver up-to-date and relevant construction project opportunities from pre-planning through to sub-contracting.

Jonathan Reece, head of specification at Epwin, said: “We are serious about helping our ACPs succeed in the competitive commercial space and Barbour ABI gives them a valuable tool to do just that.”

In addition to free access to Barbour ABI, ACP members also have access to a wealth of technical information, professional services and marketing materials to help them grow their commercial portfolio. The scheme is underpinned by a skilled and experienced in-house team, which according to Epwin, can help navigate the commercial complexities of technical specifications, sustainability and building regulations.

There is also professional assistance with tendering and PQQ writing to help fabricators submit compelling bids. Full technical support for commercial projects is included too, covering survey, design, drawing, structural calculations, stakeholders’ meetings and on-site installation.

A comprehensive commercial training programme is available that includes modules covering commercial law and site management. Regular commercial market reports and a quarterly ACP newsletter are designed to help keep fabricators up to date with market opportunities.

The Epwin approved commercial partner scheme is open to commercial manufacturers of Profile 22, Spectus, PatioMaster and Stellar systems.
