CWC invests £4m in new HQ

Chigwell Window Centre, one of the South East’s leading manufacturers and installers of premium home improvement products, is moving its entire production and distribution operations to a brand new, and much larger premises in Colchester.
For the past ten years CWC has been based at the Hainault Business Park with its four factories and distribution hub occupying several different sites in the area. The new 45,000ft2 building at Centurion Business Park in Colchester will enable the company to bring all its manufacturing and distribution facilities under one roof, doubling capacity, significantly speeding up production and at the same time reducing the company’s carbon footprint.
Dean Floyd, Chigwell Window Centre CEO, said: “We have expanded so much in recent years that we have now outgrown our current home. We started to look for new premises late last year to enable CWC to service our increasing order book and found this brand new business park in Colchester. It’s location, directly adjacent to the A120 will open up new areas in the East of the country for us to target as well as cementing our position as one of the leading window and door manufacturers in the South East and beyond.”
The move to Centurion Business Park marks a huge investment of around £4m for Chigwell Window Centre which includes the new premises, which are double the size of CWC’s current home, investment in new state of the art equipment and employing more staff to meet the increased manufacturing capacity.
Sunny Singh, Chigwell Window Centre MD, said: “Despite all the challenges businesses have faced in recent years we are all so proud to see how far the company has grown in such a relatively short time. Everyone is really excited and we can’t wait to be up and running at Centurion Park and see how far we can take CWC in the next 10 years.”
