Promise of new opportunities

The start of a new year brings with it fresh optimism and the promise of new opportunities. It is a time to re-evaluate the current ways of working, start making plans for the year ahead and streamline processes to make sure that the organisation and employees are as effective and efficient as possible.

At Origin, we are constantly looking to push the boundaries of what is possible – designing innovative new products to add to our Origin Home range, pioneering new manufacturing techniques, and unveiling new ways to support our ever-growing family of partners even more. This attitude and approach has allowed us to hit the ground running at the start of what is going to be an exciting year for us.

We are set to launch at least three new products in 2018. I have to keep the details under wraps for now, but I can say with confidence that this will have a major impact on the marketplace and reaffirm Origin’s position as the UK’s top manufacturer of bespoke aluminium doors and windows.

This, coupled with the recent news that our Origin Window is now available within 24 hours of ordering, means that we are in a strong position to start the year as we mean to go on.

Consumer trends heavily influence the focus of Origin’s internal R&D, so are something we keep a really close eye on. We do this either through our own research, or via our network of partners, all of whom meet customers on a daily basis.

We are seeing a move away from the purchase of a single set of bifold doors or an individual set of windows, towards a more integrated look. Homeowners have become more confident in what they want from their homes, and they want their doors and windows to match, both inside and out. This means an offering like ours is perfectly placed, not only to provide a cohesive look on the outside, but also be colour matched to fit the décor inside.

Finally, in 2018, we will be supporting our installers and partners more than ever before, ensuring that everyone prospers. We are aware that our partners are an extension of our business, so it is important that they are in keeping with the high standards Origin prides itself on. They can expect new and improved products, exceptional marketing, showroom and technical support, research and insight into consumer markets, as well as improvement and developments into exciting technologies that are designed to make their lives easier.

If being an Origin partner was not beneficial enough before, 2018 will see it be even further above the competition.
