The Signature door collection has been developed to provide installers with a superior quality, high-performance, all-aluminium entrance door, which delivers outstanding value compared to standard GRP composite doors.
Manufactured at our state-of-the-art plant in the South West of England, the Signature Door range provides the perfect combination of light weight and high strength, delivering all the great features that customers want, without any of the inherent weaknesses of other materials.
These next generation aluminium composite doors are uncompromising in performance, strength and durability, and with a thickness of 60mm (that’s 36% thicker than their GRP equivalent), each Signature Door leaf delivers significantly greater strength and security to present a powerful visual and physical deterrent to intruders.
Signature doors achieve a U-value from 1.2 to 1.4 W/m2K to keep customers’ properties warm and energy costs down. A double-rebate containing two weather seals also mean the doors provide exceptional weather protection, with high levels of water and wind resistance in even the harshest environments.

Fit and forget
Each door is precision made to order and delivered by specialist couriers. Uniquely box packaged, every door is securely protected with foam and supplied ready for installation (including airbags, instructions and cleaning kits) to make the process simple and straightforward.
From the installer’s point of view, Signature Doors really are ‘fit and forget’. And with quality guaranteed, once installed, the doors will provide many decades of trouble free, reliable operation, minimising call backs.
No bow guarantee
For extra reassurance, unlike with traditional composite and PVC-U doors, Smart guarantees its Signature Doors will not fail due to bowing – or the company will fit a replacement free of charge.
With the sash, frame and skins all manufactured entirely from aluminium, the complete door can be perfectly colour matched across every element (including hardware and accessories), with customers able to choose from over 300 finish options.
Whichever finish is selected, it will be applied with care and precision by Smart’s high-quality powder coat paint lines, which represent the most environmentally friendly way to apply colour, and which give a long-lasting, lustrous finish, their brilliance guaranteed for 25 years.
The Signature Door accessory range has also been designed to complement the look, quality and performance of each door and so to provide the all-important finishing touches.
High security
Signature Doors are approved to PAS24 and are also able to meet the requirements of Secured by Design, the UK Police Service’s official security initiative that helps improve the security of buildings and their surroundings to provide safer places to live and work.
With a choice of multi point locking mechanisms, every door provides outstanding protection. Standard across all doors is the 3* anti-snap, anti-pick, anti-drill and anti-bump cylinder, having passed all of the criteria of the TS007 British Kitemark and carrying a £4,000 security guarantee.
