Jo Trotman, marketing manager at The Residence Collection, discusses how fabricators and installers can utilise the company’s 26 different colourways to enhance their business and improve the customer experience.

Thanks to our extensive range of colourways and finishes, we have enabled installers to present customers with a comprehensive portfolio of colour options that allows them to add additional value to their business.

Our popular, unfoiled options, Chalk White, Vintage Cream and No.38 Grey are available for both R7 and R2. Due to their versatility, they are particularly popular for home renovations as well as small commercial housing developments. We are seeing more and more developers choose these options.

Recently, a Warwickshire housing development used over 60 R7 windows in No.38 Grey. This project saw the collaboration of PPH Management and Stedek Windows and Doors, using the Timberweld jointing method. The contrast of the orange brick against the No.38 Grey windows created a visual impact and really enhanced the nine new-build properties.

When it comes to foiled colours, we offer a wide selection of popular colourways such as Clotted Cream, No.10 Black, Grained White, and Painswick. Painswick has been one of our most popular colours in the last 12 months, as seen in the recent installation in a £7 million Cotswold Housing development by developer Lockley Homes.

Installer The Worcestershire Door Company and fabricator Lister Windows worked together to present these luxury homes that don’t compromise on quality.

All of our standard colourways have a quick lead time, ensuring a faster turnaround to not only meet customer expectations but also give installers an edge over their competitors.

Of the 26 available colours, 10 of those are special colour options and could be considered a premium option. These colours are: Honey Oak, Ginger Oak, Pyrite, Greyish, Bronze, Anodised, Sage, Pepper Oak, Clay and Noir.

These colours are popular for homeowners looking to update their windows and the overall look of their homes by adding an element of luxury. Sage, Noir and Clay have really hit the spot with homeowners, as demonstrated in a modern Shropshire home (pictured below) to enhance its contemporary aesthetic and curb appeal.

Working alongside installer RS Burgess & Sons and fabricator Stedek Windows and Doors, Noir was chosen due to its sleek texture and modern look and feel, harmonising with the consistent sightlines of the architecture by ARH Architectural Design. The juxtaposition of the white render and timber cladding against the black windows made for a striking visual statement.

Our marketing materials encompass a wide range of resources designed for homeowners. One of our key offerings is a comprehensive colour palette, designed to assist installers in supporting their customers in visualising how different hues would look in their homes.

The brochure showcases each colour option with a dedicated QR code that quickly links to the relevant Pinterest board, so installers can showcase how various colour schemes can appear in different settings. This can help the customer decide which colour would best suit their home.

Additionally, we offer an online colour sample ordering system, enabling installers to effortlessly request samples to be sent directly to their customers.

In line with our commitment to sustainability, we provide a return bag with each sample order, allowing customers to return samples for reuse, minimising our environmental impact.
