The Liniar team was introduced to Glen Speake during one of his very first Alumina installation projects – a new build home that included foiled PVCU 7016 Grey Liniar casement windows and matching aluminium bifolding doors. Liniar explains why Glen loves installing Liniar and what makes the Alumina door so unique.
“I was purchasing my Liniar products from Europlas in Telford as usual and mentioned I would be needing aluminium bifold doors for an upcoming project,” Glen said. “My contact Tonia Lloyd showed me a sample of the foiled Alumina bifolding door from Liniar and I was astonished at how well it matched the sculptured window suite.
“The corner sample really stood out against an alternative, hybrid system – the high quality of Alumina spoke for itself and the foiling and sculptured bead meant it was a perfect match for the Liniar windows I was already buying.
“With the foiled finish, Alumina comes with PVCU beads, instead of the usual aluminium beads, making the door sashes much faster and easier to glaze. And as it’s been created by the same design team as the Liniar system itself, I knew it would come with the same assurances of quality, ease of installation and accreditation.
“I love installing the Liniar system compared to other windows. The patented innovations the team have included make it lighter to carry on site, faster to fit, and even the glazing platforms have been cleverly designed to make sure the glass is perfectly supported and symmetrical.
“Alumina definitely hasn’t disappointed. The low threshold is so simple to fit, it doesn’t even need a trench digging out – and the doors themselves are full of ingenious features such as discreet magnets and folding keys; it just looks beautiful.
“Since that first project, I haven’t looked back – I’ve used Liniar windows and Alumina doors together on a number of builds, and the positive feedback from homeowners has been overwhelming.”
