Festive jumper fund
Carl F Groupco supported the annual Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day, which took place in December; £480 was raised, which beat the target of £150.
The initiative to support the charity was taken by purchasing assistant Bobbie-Leigh McKillop, who also took the lead for many of the company’s previous fund raisers.
“In light of additional difficulties faced by many children during the pandemic, it felt particularly important to continue to support the charity and spread some Christmas cheer,” Bobbie-Leigh said.
A Just Giving page was created to facilitate Covid-safe donations, and for every £2 raised the company added £4.
Carl F Groupco regularly supports charity initiatives, previously taking part in national campaigns for Wear it Pink for Breast Cancer and Jeans for Genes Day. Additionally, throughout the year, the company supports smaller local charities.
The Just Giving page will remain open if anyone would like to donate.
