Enhancing the customer journey

Polyframe has appointed Richard Lee as PVCU category director – a newly created role.

Richard will steer a strategic plan to achieve greater consistencies across the whole PVCU division and help customers achieve sustained growth. He was previously MD at the Polyframe Halifax site.

He brings more than 35 years of PVCU industry experience to the position and will spearhead a number of new developments to ensure that the business provides the very best experience for its customers at every stage.

“Our goal is to make their experience of working with Polyframe as seamless as possible and our new strategy is all about continually improving, to help them successfully grow their businesses,” Richard said.

Polyframe has recently increased the headcount of fabricators at its two largest sites in Halifax and Norwich by 25% to satisfy increased demand. The business has also made significant investments in infrastructure and equipment to further align all four production sites and enable them to deliver consistently high levels of quality and service.

David Leng, group chief executive at Customade Group, said: “Richard is an industry stalwart and he has a wealth of experience in PVCU. His drive, passion and expertise will add significant value to the business, both in terms of the quality and consistency we deliver to our customers and also in our ambition to improve all our processes in line with world class techniques.”

With Richard taking on new challenges, Phil Gray has become the new managing director of Polyframe Halifax. Phil, who has many years’ experience in the industry and joins Polyframe from the Epwin Group, is also based in Halifax.
