Charity event return trip

Morley Glass & Glazing was a headline sponsor of the sixth Annual North Leeds Charity Beer Festival at the beginning of April.

Organised by The Rotary Club of Roundhay, and once again held at the North Leeds Cricket Club, this year’s beer festival raised £7,000 for distribution to both local and international charities.

This year’s festival theme was ‘A Round Britain Festival of Ale’, featuring beers from Scotland, Wales, England and, of course, Yorkshire, including four Leeds Whippet Beers.

Those in attendance were also able to enjoy a full programme of entertainment, with performances from local bands, as well as food served up by volunteers.

Ian Short, managing director of Morley Glass & Glazing, said: “We are committed to supporting local communities, and we always enjoy being a part of the North Leeds Beer Festival and seeing the great support and much-needed funds it generates.”

The Leeds-based sealed unit manufacturer and ScreenLine integral blinds supplier also sponsors many other local charities, sports clubs and good causes.
