Doorbuilder delivers

Apeer has announced new updates to its Doorbuilder programme for 2018.

Linda Tomb, marketing manager, said: “We are always looking at ways we can improve our Doorbuilder programme and, following feedback from customers, we have rolled out a number of key updates to help make the process work better.

“A large number of changes have been made to the offline version of the programme, which is used by our installer partners in their showrooms as a visual and pricing tool. Following feedback at last year’s FIT Show, our IT technicians have now added an automatic update feature, meaning installers don’t have to manually update it themselves or re-download the software.

“With 80% of our orders coming through the offline programme, it is imperative that the system is easy to navigate and so placing orders is now quicker and easier for installers and our order processing team. We can now offer 100% matching door and sidelight glass on a number of designs on the system plus many more user-friendly updates.”

Homeowners can now see how their chosen door would look in-situ, by uploading an image of their home to the website.

“We are receiving a lot of good leads each week from the online Doorbuilder, and we hit our biggest order week in March, just one month after this new feature was added,” Linda said.
