Bohle upgrades Veribor battery-powered lifter

Bohle has launched a new battery-powered Veribor suction lifter, one that is designed to make the lifting of glass panels up to 120kg safer, while saving time and improving profitability.
Operatives who already own the BO601 and BO601G Veribor suction lifters can retrofit the battery element to their existing stock – saving money and reducing waste. To do this, the manual pump plunger is removed and the battery pump inserted with a click.
“Our Veribor range of lifters is exceptionally popular, thanks to their ease of use and their reliable German design and manufacture,” said Paul Miller, national sales manager at Bohle. “Companies who rely on Veribor lifters move tonnes of glass around their premises every single day, and they cannot afford to put their safety into the hands of second-rate products.
“Veribor suction lifters have stood the test of time, and this latest development brings further benefits to people who work with glass.”
The new Veribor battery-powered suction lifter is operated by a touch of a button, replacing the old manual pumping method. If the suction level drops, the pump is designed to automatically re-engage to ensure a tight fit.
“The pump automatically re-engages when moved from one panel to the next,” Paul said. “This means it can be used with just one hand, and it significantly speeds up the process if several glass panels need to be moved at once.
“Glass processing companies work with an increasingly varied product range, and moving stock is a necessary part of the job. Time spent pumping and releasing vacuum lifters costs time and money, which increases as the stock holding gets larger.
“The Veribor battery-powered lifter speeds up this process, which improves productivity and gives peace of mind to the user.”
The Veribor battery-powered pump is charged via USB-C, which takes just three hours, and one battery charge is sufficient for 600 cycles. Charge and vacuum status is displayed via LED, and the user can easily switch to hand-pump mode if the battery needs to be charged mid-shift.
“The new Veribor battery-powered lifter is a true upgrade,” Paul said. “Not only does it offer significant improvements in productivity, convenience and safety, but it offers those benefits to older Veribor models, saving money and reducing waste in the process.”
