Bespoke machinery partnership

Camden is expanding to keep up with customer demand.

The Camden door factory will see the addition of two NR242 high speed machining centres from Haffner, plus welding and assembly lines to speed up and ensure accuracy of the cut and prepped doors.

The aim of the upgrade was to create a fully automated factory. Dave Thomas, managing director at Haffner Murat, and his team worked closely with many departments at Camden including IT, production, maintenance and management.

As well as upgrading the door factory, Camden also added a new factory to its manufacturing headquarters to create capacity for additional volume. The new machinery specified by Camden from Haffner includes in-line welders, specialist machining centres, ancillary cutting centres, and high speed sash machining centres.

The investment will ensure every window and door is made to the highest standard possible and delivers full automation and quality control checking for cutting, welding and bead processing.

Bespoke machines for both aluminium and PVCU fabricators can be designed and built within 12-16 weeks.
