Tradeglaze invests in manufacturing capacity
Lincoln fabricator Tradeglaze has taken delivery of a new Stuga Autoflow-2 MK4 sawing and machining centre.
Tradeglaze production manager, Kenny King, said: “The Stuga Autoflow-2 MK4 is a game-changer for us. Capable of producing all saw cuts including arrowheads and espags on either side of profile, it optimises and further improves the precision of our fabrication process. It will also decrease wastage of profile, meaning we will be able to further reduce our impact on the environment by sending less material for recycling.
“It is widely anticipated that Part L Building Regulations will require far lower U-values windows installed in new homes from 2025. Our focus on innovation means that we will be able to produce ultra energy efficient windows and doors for our customers, way ahead of when new building regulations take effect,” he continued.
“This new investment also allows us to manufacture brand new window styles in our factory such as flush casement windows which have been rapidly increasing in popularity across both the domestic and commercial markets.”

The new Stuga AutoFlow-2 MK4 sawing and machining centre is the fourth addition to the fabricator’s portfolio in the last 12 months. The upgrade follows on from the recent CNC machining centre that the company’s Aluminium factory took delivery in February earlier this year.
