Prefix launches virtual showroom

Prefix has launched a virtual showroom that allows its products and key details to be viewed online.

The new showroom has been designed to provide all the convenience of an ‘in-person visit’ with visitors able to navigate from one product to another and review key features of individual products from glass roofs and solid roofs as well as the outdoor Verandah system.

It also includes Prefix’s full range of products under the aluminium brand, Opal.

According to Prefix, people can often be put off visiting showrooms as they might feel pressured by salespeople and adds that its virtual showroom allows customers to browse products from the comfort of their own home before deciding to engage further.

Prefix marketing manager, Hannah Wilson, said: “We launched our new showroom in 2019 before the pandemic and we found it to be a huge success with both trade and consumers. However, since 2020 when Covid hit and we had to close our showroom, we have seen fewer visitors keen on visiting in person. They would prefer to speak to us over the phone or email.

“Our new virtual showroom is hugely important to existing and potential customers and homeowners who are either too far away to make the visit or who would prefer to view our products online.”

The virtual showroom features a 360° interactive experience. It’s also available to view in VR if users have a VR headset.

Alternatively, Prefix’s showroom, which is located at its head office in Blackburn, Lancashire is also now re-opened. No appointment is needed. Showroom opening times are Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm and Fridays 8am – 4pm, weekends by special appointment.
