New virtual site surveys

Jackloc has launched a new virtual site survey process for businesses, which allows the company to remotely view windows and to perform window safety reviews and recommendations.

During the survey the team can view a range of windows and help the owner perform a risk assessment. The team can recommend window restrictors depending on the business’s individual windows, and once completed the business receives both a verbal and written report of the conclusions.

The site survey is free and requires only a video connection via a portable electronic device.

Eric Collins, managing director of Jackloc, said: “During lockdown we continued to have many enquiries from businesses about the safety and security of their windows and requests for our help. By holding conducting virtual surveys with the client we can still view the windows and provide recommendations, which has provided peace of mind for the customer and also saved unnecessary logistical complications.

“The virtual surveys have been very well received and we are pleased to be offering the service on a permanent basis.”
