Ron Crowl, general manager at software specialist Cyncly, has heralded the FIT Show as a ‘resounding success’.

Cyncly is behind a number of software products developed for the window, door and glass industry in the UK, including First Degree Systems, SoftTech, FeneTech, and Contract ERP.

“Coming together as Cyncly in September 2022 allowed us to deliver on our global strength,” Ron said. “And since then, we have talked to many window fabrication businesses and glass companies about their ambitions for growth, how they are approaching a changing market, and the impact this has on manufacture, distribution and customer relationships.

“We explained how we want to help them improve the way they do business, by enabling them to simplify complexity, grow sales, increase efficiency, and drive innovation.”

Greg Beachim, sales manager with First Degree Systems, was on hand to discuss how window and door design processing software Window Designer can offer key advantages to customers, including managing stock levels, efficiently processing window and doors in both PVC-U and aluminium, and tracking orders from quotation through to delivery.

“These discussions inevitably led on to our future plans, and how being part of the wider Cyncly organisation will help product development and create new opportunities for efficient and profitable manufacture,” Greg said.

“The window and door market in the UK is constantly changing, and we need to help our customers stay one step ahead of the competition by helping them be the best they can be.”

Ron said: “Since we now have more than 250 technical experts working across different product groups, we can develop new solutions that will help make our customers more efficient and profitable.

“Automation, machinery investment, increased workflow, efficient stockholding – this is the language of modern window, door and glass manufacture, and it is helping to drive innovation in the UK today. Complementary software investment maximises the hardware investments by increasing workflow, optimising inventory, and reducing error.

“Talking to window, door and glass companies at the FIT Show demonstrated how in tune they are to new ways of working, and I am looking forward to following up some of those conversations with strategies to help them to simplify complexity, increase efficiency, and grow sales.”
