Magna wins Fensa Installation of the Year

Leicestershire installer, Magna Windows, has won the 2022 Fensa Installation of the Year competition at the recent G22 awards.
One of the technical judges, Lee Galley, assessor manager for inspections and auditing specialist Risa, said of the installation: “I picked this one as it was a high-quality installation that was also in keeping with the design of the property. It would not have been an easy installation as the property is old and some areas had suffered from subsidence in the past that had affected the shape of the window apertures.
“This all had to be taken into consideration by the surveyor who has done a great job in ensuring that the best possible fit has been achieved. Storm Evolution Rebated windows have also been installed with a great deal of care and operate faultlessly.”
Fensa’s Tom Butler added: “The response from the homeowner that triggered the initial entry for Magna was glowing; when our inspectors followed up to consider the technical aspects of the installation, that too was exemplary. Magna epitomises everything that we expect from Fensa approved installers everywhere and we are proud as an organisation to highlight their commitment to excellence.”
Magna Windows took its name from Wigston Magna, where the firm was established in 1989. It remains a family business serving homes in Leicestershire. For Magna, director Will Cheshire said: “Winning this award is fantastic and you can be certain we will make sure everyone knows!
“But we approached this installation just the same way that we approach every job. We have a fantastic attitude throughout the company; everyone just enjoys doing their job and it all comes together at the customer’s home.”
Launched by Fensa, installations are automatically entered into the competition following homeowner satisfaction feedback and assuming full Building Regulation compliance.
The winner is chosen through a balance of customer satisfaction and technical ability. Around 550,000 installations are entered each year.
