Leads 2 Trade reports 62% surge in double glazing enquiries

Lead 2 Trade has reported a significant increase in consumer enquiries for double glazing, with a 62% surge in 2024 compared to the previous year.

Leads 2 Trade has also seen revenue from these enquiries rise by almost 40%.

Andy Royle, managing director of Leads 2 Trade, said: “While solar enquiries dropped quite considerably last year due to economic pressures, we were able to successfully fill that void knowing we had strong demand in the fenestration sector. This strategic shift has paid dividends, with double glazing proving particularly robust.”

A surge in member enquiries also reflected the current challenges facing installers in generating their own leads, said Andy. “The increased reliance on our services indicates that times are tough for fenestration companies when it comes to generating their own opportunities.

“We currently have around 25% more appetite from our fenestration members that we could fill today and the volume is there. The pendulum has certainly swung back in our favour.”

Andy adds that Leads 2 Trade’s TLS discount scheme, which is exclusive to members, has been a ‘game-changer’, allowing installers to offer substantial discounts of 20% to help beat competitors’ quotes.

The result has been that installers are doubling their turnover and seeing conversion rates improve from 1:3 to 1:1.2, with no loss of margin, continued Andy: “Every member using our TLS discount scheme is doubling their conversions and making more money.

“And one of the main benefits to our members is, because it’s exclusive to us, if they are buying leads from Leads 2 Trade, they can use the discount tool on none Leads 2 Trade leads too, meaning they will be assured of winning their own generated leads too.”
