Kömmerling sets the standard
Kömmerling has stated that its C70, O70 and new 70mm flush sash systems all meet the 2022 Building Regulations for replacement and new build projects with a U-value of 1.2 W/(m2k) as standard.
Andrew Charlesworth, technical director of Profine UK and Kömmerling, said: “Given the considerable resources here in the UK and in Germany we’ve been able to further develop our 70mm platform to improve energy efficiency credentials.
“This is in addition to our Kömmerling 76 open out system and the Passivhaus standard System 88 tilt and turn window, which uses material technologies from BASF.
“Building regulations will again change in the years to come and sooner than we think,” he continued. “So now is the time to partner wisely with a company that’s committed to product innovation and sustainability, thanks also to our recycling initiatives in the UK and across Europe.”
