Genius expands fleet

Norwich-based fabricator, Genius PVC Trade Frames, has announced a significant expansion to its delivery fleet with the addition of a new 18-tonne XL van, with a second identical vehicle also on order.

The strategic investment follows the appointment of a dedicated transport manager, Jason Morton, who joined the company 12 months ago.

Operations director, Lee Dickinson, explained: “This new addition to our fleet is a game-changer for our logistics operations. With our customer base expanding nationwide, we needed to ensure our delivery capabilities could keep pace with production.

“These new 18-tonne vehicles will allow us to deliver greater efficiency and reliability than ever before. We pride ourselves on supplying our customers with what they want in just five days and this investment will help us continue to deliver that.”

The new vehicles complement the fabricator’s recent £3.2 million investment in machinery, including a new BAZ Tandem Schirmer cutting centre and a Rotox Horizontal 8 head welding and cleaning line, and a factory expansion.

The investments support Genius in expanding its product range to include Deceuninck systems, which complement its already established popular Kömmerling range.
