Framexpress invests £300k in machinery

Framexpress has invested over £300,000 in new machinery.

Housed in its 50,000ft2 Telford manufacturing facility, the new Urban SV 500 corner cleaner, Urban AKS1860/4 Verti quad welder and Urban AKS 5550 inline welder are helping to meet increasing demand for Framexpress products, following a record-breaking year of business.

The new additions have also helped prepare the company for its new product developments, including its recently launched ‘Fire Doors by Framexpress’ range of 30-minute composite fire, smoke and security doorsets.

Stuart Green, joint managing director at Framexpress, said: “We’re always looking for ways to continue upholding our exceptionally high-standards, and our latest investment into new machinery is just another example of that.

“For the past 25 years, we have dedicated our time and expertise into developing the highest-quality products, mastering our faultless manufacturing processes and delivering on our exceptional lead times for our customers, some of which have been with us since the very beginning. We understand that the only way we can uphold this quality is by reinvesting in ourselves to ensure this doesn’t change.”

In addition to new machinery, Framexpress has also acquired a new 15,000ft2 facility in Tweedale – said to be a stone’s throw away from its main HQ – and a total of six new delivery vehicles.
