Export sales up

International hardware manufacturer Cotswold Architectural Products saw its export sales opportunities continue to increase during 2016, and this looks set to continue during 2017, according to the company.

Cotswold – part of the Caldwell Group – has seen high demand for its friction stays and restrictor arms for commercial projects, including its Extreme range of hinges that are engineered to accommodate heavier windows such as triple glazed units.

Luz Seminario, export sales manager, said: “Anybody who exports took a deep breath following Brexit, as any uncertainty can cause market fluctuations but we’ve actually grown exports during this period. The combination of our reputation for service, quality products and a weaker pound is yielding strong results.”

Cotswold exports its products to more than 50 countries worldwide including USA, Chile, South Korea, Malaysia and India, as well as supplying products to the UK trade.
