DoorCo wins at Manufacturing Awards

DoorCo has won ‘Most Innovative Business’ at the 2024 Manufacturing Awards.

A national competition run by the UK Business Awards, the category included entries from manufacturing businesses from across various industries with DoorCo coming out victorious for its Innovation Week campaign.

Ellie Pool, DoorCo’s marketing manager, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have been recognised as one of the UK’s most innovative businesses in the manufacturing space. Engineering and creativity are qualities we pride ourselves on, so to have been awarded this title is a real badge of honour for us.

“The award recognises our work on the recent Innovation Week marketing campaign which saw us launch over 10 new products and supply chain updates in just five days.

“From our new taller, wider Eaton door to the re-engineered version of Gripcore, the updated Flip glazing cassette system, new standard colours, fresh glass designs and more, our social media channels were flooded with news that week which then extended into the press.

“During the application process for the award, we were able to demonstrate tangible success from the campaign including engagement and sales which when combined with the actual innovation of the products themselves, helped us bring home the trophy.”

DoorCo has recently launched a new door range which will be made in its new manufacturing facility in Thorne, Doncaster. The solid core door will be finished with ThermoPlastic skins and will be available in a range of DoorCo’s most popular blank styles and two exclusive new styles.
