Comp Door continues machinery investment

Comp Door has taken delivery of a new quad welder from Avantek, the latest in a number of machinery investments that are designed to drive efficiencies for its growing customer base.

The quad welder is said to deliver fast and accurate inline welds, improving the quality of Comp Door’s products, whilst speeding up the manufacturing process and expanding capacity.

Richard Diliberto, director at Comp Door, said: “We have seen a large upturn in demand for our products, and this recent investment of innovative technologies and automated machinery will allow us to further improve our production efficiencies in line with customer demand and lead times.  We firmly believe in actively listening to our customers and evolving our products to match.”

Pierre Mifsud, managing director of Comp Door, commented: “With our growth strategy at our core, we have also invested in a Haffner SBA 4 machining centre, added two new delivery vans to our fleet, acquired a vacuum former, two CNC’s, a new wrapping machine, a new CNC corner cleaner, plus a new edge bander!

“We are serious about our vision to be the market leading composite door manufacturer, and this demonstrates our dedication to that mission.”
