A perfect balance

Warwick Developments Specialist Division has chosen ERA as the sole supplier of balances for its range of sash windows.

ERA’s new TrueGlide balance has already been supplied for over 8,000 of Warwick’s Spectus sash products.

Warwick is said to have experienced a continued uplift in demand for PVC-U sash windows for both residential refurbishments and commercial real estate, and required a consistent supply of high performance balances in the shortest possible lead times.

Designed and manufactured in the UK within a five-day lead time, TrueGlide offers a weight carrying range between 4.5kg to 28.4kg.

TrueGlide has been designed to enable the window to manoeuvre quietly, smoothly, and easily with the lightest of touches due to its low operating forces. Each balance also features a dual action close that prevents any sudden closure of the window or trapping of the fingers for increased safety.

With a relationship spanning over 15 years, Warwick also specifies ERA’s extensive range of gearing and Fab&Fix decorative furniture for its sash window portfolio.

Available in nine suited finishes, the decorative furniture includes standard and high security cam locks and keeps, handles, eyes, pulls, travel restrictors and knobs.
