Positive feedback for Touch software

Huddersfield based John Fredericks (JFP) was the first fabricator to go live with the BM Group’s game changing Touch Portal software platform across multiple products, and customers are reporting positive feedback about how user-friendly the system is.

Terry Abbotts Logue, the IT Director at JFP, commented: “Customers can log in to Touch Portal and quote and order casement windows, tilt & turns, PVC-U doors, in-line patio doors and composite doors from us, which has given us a significant advantage in the market since we went live with the system in May.

“We are close to launching the next phase as well, which will include true stable doors, aluminium windows, bi-folds and patios. Take up has been excellent as a result, with customers telling us they really like the ease of use, the beautiful graphics and the ability to generate quotes so quickly.”

He added: “We’ve always prided ourselves on being a proactive company in order to help our customers and our investment in Touch Portal is just the latest demonstration of that. Touch has clearly been designed to meet the needs of the whole supply chain and I can see how in the long term it will boost our efficiency as well, as much as it is now enhancing our customers’ experience.

“We’ve had lots of good feedback from customers on the new layout and modern access platform and working alongside the Touch team, I know there are more positive advances being made in areas of the programme.”

The BM Group is continuing the roll out of Touch Portal and its range of associated products – Touch Portal Dealer mode and Touch Portal Branded mode to customers across the UK with demos now bookable via the website at: https://store.bm-touch.co.uk/.
