Finstral aims to redefine UK door market

Finstral has launched its modular door systems to the UK, opening a 210m² studio in Borehamwood, showcasing the full range of door and entrance solutions.

The studio provides a space for specification, training, and client presentations.

Finstral says that visitors can see – and feel – the handles, finishes, and glazing options that set Finstral apart, while expert consultants are available to answer technical questions and provide tailored advice.

Produced entirely in-house, the product range is said to combine precision engineering with design flexibility, offering distinctive features such as mix-and-match finishes, custom handles and bold glazing options.

A key strengh of the Finstral door range is the modular mix-and-match concept, which allows the inside and outside of each door to be specified independently.

This means clients can choose aluminium externally for durability and weather resistance, while opting for warm wood, minimalist glass, or even ceramic finishes internally. With 230 colours and multiple frame and leaf designs, every door can be tailored to suit both contemporary builds and traditional refurbishments. Side panels, fanlights, and double-leaf options can be seamlessly integrated.

Multipoint locking systems come as standard, concealed fittings ensure a clean finish, and optional smart access technology adds convenience.

According to Finstral, as all production takes place in-house, installers can rely on precise assembly and excellent stability with features that make a real difference on site and in service.

Finstral designs and manufactures its own handles and hardware, ensuring every element integrates seamlessly. Handles are ergonomically crafted, solid to the touch, and available in the full colour palette, making hardware a visible design feature rather than an afterthought.

The standout Cristal door option takes this approach further. Here, the handle passes directly through a full-glass leaf, creating a flush, uninterrupted surface, offering architects and installers a unique selling point for premium projects.
