Business Pilot training goes on tour

Business Pilot is taking its open training days on a UK tour, with a series of dates and venues scheduled between March and November.

“We’ve had huge success and incredible feedback on our open training day events,” said Elton Boocock, managing director at Business Pilot. “These additional training days not only help users to understand new features and developments, but also offer the chance to delve into areas of the business management system that they aren’t making the most of.

“Perhaps most importantly, these events give the BP community the chance to talk to like-minded installers and share tips on how they use Business Pilot.”

In 2023, Business Pilot hosted its largest ever open training day event in Birmingham which attracted 70 delegates from across the UK and received some great feedback.

Ian Craig, from Bon Accord Glass in Aberdeen, commented: “We picked up a lot of useful improvements to our current workflow.”

And Deana Newton of Kompass, based in Nottinghamshire, said: “It was worthwhile meeting others who were already deep into using the system and learning tips from them.”

Elton explained: “This year, we’ve decided to go down the route of five smaller events, with bespoke agendas around the key areas that each installation company wants to focus on.

“Taking the events around the country also makes them more accessible for customers.”

The 2024 events will take place on:

  • March 27, Crowne Plaza, Birmingham NEC
  • April 24, Hilton, London Heathrow T5
  • June 13, Marriott Royal, Bristol
  • October 23, Innside by Melia, Newcastle
  • November 7, Hilton Deansgate, Manchester

Elton added: “One of the Business Pilot mantras for this year is to create the ‘world’s best training department’, and our open training day events are a huge part of making this happen.

“We’re building on the hundreds of five-star reviews that our trainers Rebecca and Arwen have already received from the BPcommunity. Our training diary is always open for bookings, but these events have the added benefit of learning together with other installers.”

Tickets are limited so Business Pilot users are encouraged to book as soon as possible to secure their preferred location.

The Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester events coincide with the PiGs events in those cities, so delegates can make the most of extra networking opportunities in the evening.
