BM Aluminium praised for technical support

C&A Window Systems has endorsed BM Aluminium’s technical support team for making it easy to add a new machine link to its Elumatec DG104 saw and Elumatec SBZ122 CNC – helping the fabricator transition to a fully automated factory.

C&A’s factory manager, Steve Meyers, said: “BM Aluminium has been exceptional – in particular John Chambers, the head of CNC support. He has been so patient and immensely helpful. I know I can call or email and, within a moment’s notice, he will either log on or assist me in the best way possible.

“I feel that we couldn’t have chosen a better partner to help us ease our way into our automated future. We’re a high-quality fabricator supplying aluminium windows and doors to trade, retail and commercial clients and now we’re more efficient, productive and competitive than ever.”

BM Aluminium has been supplying its LogiKal aluminium processing software to Essex-based C&A Window Systems since 2018, but it was only this year that C&A opted for a CNC module to link the software with its machining centre.

Since March, BM Aluminium has delivered a mix of bespoke programming to modify C&A’s existing machining preps and add in its third party hardware options on everything from windows to bi-folds. BM Aluminium is also providing training to the C&A processing and fabrication teams so that they can make the most of the additional investment in software.

John Chambers added: “It’s been a pleasure helping Steve and his team get up and running with the machine links. They have made the most of the help and support which is available to every BM Aluminium customer and will have a better set up as a result.”
