Slide for success

Versatile, innovative and high performing – Jeff Dunn, sales and commercial director of the Glazerite UK Group, shares how the next generation of patio sliders is set to open up more opportunities for Glazerite installers.

Our North Division, based in Barnsley, is a hive of activity. Opened in early 2024 as part of our ambitions to build further growth for installers, the purpose-built 30,000ft2 facility focuses exclusively on the production of the Deceuninck 2500 and 2800 profile systems.

Now the Barnsley production lines are set to buzz even louder with the addition of the high-performance Deceuninck Slider TT24 Triple-Track patio door.

Our partnership with Deceuninck, announced in 2023, was forged with our installers’ own ambitions in mind. Giving customers a greater choice of profile systems opens up new opportunities in new markets, backed by a renowned profile systems house that puts delivery, performance, innovation and customer focus at the heart of everything it does.

Now even more doors are set to open for our installers with the exciting addition of the TT24 Triple-Track slider to our portfolio.

When it comes to aesthetics and robust performance, today’s consumers want the best of both and the Triple Track, which utilises three tracks instead of the standard two, more than delivers. Its sleek, contemporary profiles and slim sightlines are matched with superior security and energy efficiency.

As the ultimate space-saving solution for customers looking to open up access to the outdoors without the need to fold and stack a bi-fold, the Triple Track system meets the growing demand for larger patio doors. It also allows for up to three sliding sashes so that two-thirds of the doorway can be opened up at once for better ventilation, more flexible access and uninterrupted views.

We are fabricating the Triple Track in the three-pane option up to nearly 4,420mm and up to 6m in a six-pane configuration. The system also allows for individual sashes up to 1,500mm wide and weighing up to 150kg, making it suitable for a range of applications, from residential properties to commercial buildings.

As durable as it is aesthetic, the TT24 delivers on security, meeting PAS24:2022 standards, with an 8-point locking mechanism and an ERA total security guarantee. What’s more, it can be manufactured to Secured by Design specification.

It also offers excellent insulation benefits and is energy efficient, with a double-glazed A+ Window Energy Rating (WER) while its superior weather performance, strength and flexibility makes it suitable for homeowners and commercial developers.

The door seamlessly opens and closes thanks to precision engineering for a user-friendly experience and is available in a range of finishes and colours for design flexibility. It is also durable and low in maintenance and backed our comprehensive 10 year guarantee.

We featured the TT24 triple-track patio door on the FIT Show VIP Lounge, which we sponsored this year, and it certainly won praise from our stand visitors.

Developed by Deceuninck in response to customer demand, it’s a design first for the PVC-U market and one we are really excited to be fabricating for our installers, particularly given the popularity of inline sliding patio doors.

With the option to add the high-end Uni-fold blinds from Morley Glass and further complemented with the Ultion Sweet patio door handle as standard, the Triple Track is set to be the perfect patio door solution.
