Reflections on home improvement

Somehow, July is already here, and the summer has well and truly arrived. For many of us, this means working out what to do with the children for the long summer holidays, but for others, it is a time to reflect on how we can improve our homes.
For Origin, and therefore all Origin partners, the summer is a particularly busy period as consumers and homeowners start to make their renovation plans to improve their home that will allow them to enjoy the weather and their home as much as possible. As a result, our bifolding and sliding doors become even more popular at this time of year, as people aspire for more and strive to fulfil these ambitions. This translates into a steady growth in web traffic, increased interest and leads generated, and a surge in sales.
This is clearly great for Origin as a business, but we have to ensure that our manufacturing processes are slick and highly efficient, and that our premium partners are fully equipped to handle this seasonal demand. Over the last 12 months, we have worked very hard to further streamline our manufacturing processes on all our products, and we have introduced a new sliding door range, which is perfectly timed for summer – already proving a hit with homeowners and installers alike.
Available in two ranges – the Origin Patio Slider and the Origin Artisan Slider – both have been designed to give our partners even more choice when it comes to better meeting their customers’ needs. Each range, which like all Origin products, is manufactured from a premium grade aluminium, is available with different sightline options and offers an industry-leading guarantee of up to 20 years.
The Artisan Slider boasts ultra-slim sightlines of just 20mm, meaning that our partners can offer homeowners unrivalled views of the outside. Due to aluminium’s innate strength, Origin is able to accommodate incredibly large glass expanses, making it both visually stunning and practically versatile.
The Patio Slider’s classic design lends itself to any style of property. It is available with two sightline options – 44mm or 77mm – which adds further flexibility and kudos to this product offering.
It’s a system we have designed and developed in house, so it’s something we’re really proud of. Every aspect has been engineered to work flawlessly – it’s PAS 24 certified, can achieve a U-value of 1.2W/m2K, is available a range of configurations, and can be specified in over 150 RAL shades.
This latest innovation not only shows Origin’s desire to continually improve, but also our commitment to our partners, equipping them with an ever increasing number of top quality products, designed to meet any customer’s needs.
