Pushing on to greater things
Origin was recently unveiled as number 58 on this year’s Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 list. This national league recognises Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales.
We reported a 68% increase over the last two years, which secured our spot inside the top 60.
As you can imagine, we’re incredibly proud to not only have made it into this year’s list, but to also rank so highly. It is a major coup for us to be listed alongside some fantastic companies, recognising the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, both in the UK and in the US.
Our continued growth and success is a result of manufacturing top quality products, providing our trusted partners with an unbeatable ‘gold-standard’ of service and the unrivalled lead times we offer. Plus, in the past two years, we have introduced an array of innovative new products to the marketplace, hugely reinvested in R&D, strengthened our exporting capabilities to both Europe and Dubai, and increased our already expanded presence in the US.
On top of this, we must credit a huge portion of this success to our core values and our ‘Origin family’. As we go from strength to strength, the family ethos that the company was built on has remained at its very heart. Even now, with over 295 employees, this culture still remains vitally important to all those involved within the business.
The Sunday Times announcement is affirmation on an international scale that proves our top-quality products and gold standard of service are working globally. It adds another level of maturity to Origin as a business. Growing internationally has always been a major focus for us, and this recognition shows that we are on the right path.
Acknowledgments like this push us on to even greater things, so we will not be resting on our laurels. The future looks really exciting for Origin, so we will celebrate this win with the team and then get back to work, concentrating on bringing even more trusted partners on board and enhancing our own credentials as a leading international organisation and employer.
