New Year, new community benefits

The start of 2025 has seen the GGF Group launch the Glazing Journal. A new year and a new membership magazine that will boost engagement and communication for the GGF community.
It was really important for us at the GGF to be able to find new ways in which to share the huge amount of information we have for our members. We have a diverse range of companies within the GGF who all choose to engage with us indifferent ways and not everyone enjoys sifting through emails!
At a time when everyone is expected to be switched on 24/7 it’s also important to give people the chance to sit down and read the latest industry updates at a time and place of their choosing. Having the magazine available both in print and online gives our members the opportunity to digest when it best suits their work life balance.
Member success stories
In the first edition we’ve included a piece on the success of the GGF community at the G Awards held in November as members took home nine awards on the night. It’s those success stories of members of the leading trade federation in the industry that we want to highlight.
In future editions we’ll be inviting members to contribute articles, opinion pieces, or send in questions and suggestions to GGF staff on what should be included. The magazine will evolve as we move forward and it’s really important for us that GGF members feel that it is their magazine, and to do that it means their input is vital the success of the Glazing Journal.
It is our intention that the magazine will serve as an educational tool to the GGF community, offering in-depth analysis, case studies and expert opinions on key glass and glazing topics. The magazine will provide members with knowledge that can be directly applied to the benefit of their businesses.
What’s included?
Every edition will cover the latest essential updates relevant to the industry and this first issue has articles covering the G Awards, technical matters, sustainability and a FIT Show preview amongst many others.
Unlike the overwhelming volume of unverified information online, the content included in Glazing Journal has been carefully curated by expert and contributors from within the GGF team. We want to ensure members readers receive reliable, high-quality content tailored to their interests and needs.
Regular publications
The new Glazing Journal is part of our commitment to the GGF community that we will be producing regular publications for their benefit throughout the year. This launch follows on from the latest Glazing Market Knowledge Report that we released to members in November of last year and we have committed to producing two of these in the coming year also.
As part of the Glazing Market Knowledge Report for 2025 we’ve also agreed to sponsor the Keystone Consumer Reports which means the GGF community will have access not only to the latest industry data but also key homeowner insights and trends that will help their business.
We anticipate this to be a really valuable part of our member communications and it has been fantastic to see all the positive feedback we have received to date.
