Expect more with Quickslide

Sales and marketing are vital drivers of organic business growth. Which is why Quickslide’s marketing support extends way beyond supplying a pull-up banner and a window sample for their customers’ showrooms, as marketing manager, Sandra Berg, explains.

As one of the industry’s leading manufacturers and trade suppliers of windows and doors, Quickslide understands the importance of quality not only when it comes to products but also with service and support.

According to Sandra Berg, Quickslide’s marketing manager, it is sales and marketing support, along with customer service and aftercare, are the key ways in which the fabricator helps its trade partners’ businesses grow.

Showroom support

Sandra is clear that when it comes to showroom support, Quickslide’s customers rightly expect, and receive, more.

“We don’t have a standard showroom support package – we look at what each customer needs,” she says. “For example, when the showroom manager at TWS Kidderminster asked for help to freshen up the vertical slider section of their showroom I was happy to make the trip to Kidderminster.

“I arranged for a new bespoke display and hardware board. When I was there, I realised they were missing an opportunity to promote woodgrain – and discovered it was because they didn’t realise we offer free of charge woodgrain swatches.”

For Sandra, this is why it’s so important to visit partners’ showrooms, see what’s going on, and offer tailored support.

“Wilson Windows asked our sales manager, Lee Turner, if he could help them make the most of the vertical slider enquiries they get. We went there and, again, they have since ordered new window samples and bespoke displays with hardware, as well as a portable hardware board for when they see customers,” she explains. “They had a very clear understanding that customers willing to spend on VS would also likely be inclined to spend on all the upgrades, hence why one of their window samples was in a bespoke colour-coated finish.”

Offering above and beyond

Quickslide’s trade partners have access to a creative marketing portal, where they can brand their own point of sale using pre-designed artwork. “Brochures, drop cards, posters, pull up banners, enquiry forms, social media ads, artwork for eshots, even stationary such as business cards and letterheaded paper – you name it, we’ve got it,” says Sandra.

“Our internal marketing team also offers personal marketing support, with bespoke collateral. This support is absolutely free of charge and we’re always happy to discuss promotion ideas and how we can help.”

Online, Quickslide prioritises ongoing investment in SEO to increase its digital presence. “Our new website is built for lead generation,” explains Sandra. “Our stockist network features trade partners across the country and provides opportunities for growth by generating high quality leads in the right service areas.

“The stockists also have a sub site where their opening hours and more information about their business can be found. Homeowner leads are automatically distributed by the system to the right trade partners.”

Quickslide’s media centre is also packed with photos, videos, technical documents and installation guides. Trade partners are welcome to use whatever they see fit on their own website and social channels.

“We’re always looking to fill the media centre with new photos and we’ll happily invest in photography of our trade partners’ projects for case studies that’ll feature both parties.”

Talk – really talk

“I know from speaking to our customers that when it comes to windows and doors, we’re the people to talk to,” says Sandra, “and they mean actually talk. We are always at the end of the phone whether it’s a straightforward stock query or to discuss what you need to grow your business, and how we can help.

“To make talking to us even easier, we’ve just introduced a new ‘Meet the Team’ page on our website, where our trade partners can send a message or request a call back from exactly the person they want to speak to.

“It’s so important that our customers can talk to us and find out what they need to know, there and then,” she concludes. “Our experts are always only one phone call away.”
