Avantek launches new 6-head welder and KV-500 vent router
Avantek Machinery has introduced two new products, the Wegoma 6-head inline hybrid welder and the KV-500 vent router, solutions that it says ‘underscores its commitment to innovation and user-friendly design’.
A dual-functionality welder
According to Avantek, the Wegoma 6-head inline hybrid welder represents a leap forward in fabrication technology. Engineered to maximise production capacity and efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards, this welder is said to be a testament to Avantek’s dedication to forward thinking.
Avantek Machinery sales director, Jamie Munday, explained: “The machine features four fully automatic heads with a quick release profile support block system, pneumatic transom self-centring systems, and a servo motor-controlled head alignment system, plus much more.
“These run alongside two additional, standard universal heads that can operate independently in a turreted position. This essentially provides the functionality of two machines in one – not only boosting production speed but also offering unparalleled versatility.
He continued: “As the latest welder in Avantek’s armoury, our inline hybrid is unlike anything else currently available on the market. We listened carefully to our customers and incorporated their feedback and first-hand experience of emerging market trends.
“The result is a welder that not only delivers exceptional functionality and an excellent user experience, but the universal heads have been specially adapted to produce H-welds as narrow as 370mm when turreted. This enables fabricators to service a growing demand for narrower sashes and smaller openings.”
Precision vent routing
Complementing the new welder, the KV-500 vent router introduces a new level of precision and efficiency to vent routing.
Jamie commented: “Its unique double-plunge action allows for the simultaneous routing of interior and exterior surfaces, a feature that significantly enhances productivity, and combined with its compact size, sets it apart from anything else available right now.
“The KV-500 is also equipped with an industry-leading Siemens PLC touch control screen, along with presets that can be programmed to meet customer’s requirements,” he continued.
“This machine is another prime example of our commitment to enhancing end-user experience and addressing the needs of manufacturers, enabling streamlined processes which maximise production capacity – who doesn’t want that for their business?”
