Seven staff promotions

SupaLite’s founder David Watters is leaving his position as managing director, and taking up the role of group chairman.

The company said the new role will allow David to dedicate more time to working on specific projects and product development, along with strengthening ties with SupaLite’s nationwide trade partner network.

Operations director Steve Hacking has been promoted to the role of managing director, where he will take over the day-to-day management of the business.

“Both myself and the board of directors are thrilled to announce these staff changes, which ensure we have the right people in the right roles as we continue to scale-up,” David said. “I would like to congratulate Steve on his new role as managing director. He has been my right-hand-man for many years and his hard-work, dedication and experience makes him the perfect candidate to lead this great team and ultimately take SupaLite forward.”

Production director Mick Stewart is also promoted to the role of supply chain director, and while Alan Watters remains in his role as technical director, he will assume greater responsibility as he takes over day-to-day management of roof production.

Other changes include Luke Carter taking over as technical manager, Cassie Watters becoming sales and marketing manager, and Dean Newsham succeeding Luke as quotes and processing manager.

“I am looking forward to carrying on Dave’s great work of supporting our growing trade partner network and delivering a product range that’s proven to help them win new business,” Steve said.
