New facilities officer

Rehau appointed Henry Simms, who has a “wealth of experience and valuable know-how across health and safety and construction design management”, as its new facilities officer.

Henry will overlook operations within Rehau’s UK and Scandinavian sites (Sweden, Denmark and Norway). He will oversee site acquisitions, take control of lease hold management, and monitor the health and safety remit within these regions.

He joins Rehau from Cardiff Community Housing Association where he had two different roles since 2010. He joined the company as a lead maintenance officer, a role he had for five years, before becoming projects manager (maintenance).

“I am excited to take on my role at Rehau and particularly look forward to continuing the brands stringent focus on health and safety across all levels within the organisation,” Henry said. “The health and safety of a business is very important to customers today and I am confident that my knowledge in this area will help support the business as it drives forward.

“In addition to this, I am also keen to improve areas of compliance across all Rehau sites and am already looking at introducing a minimum standard requirement from all supplier stakeholders to ensure continuity in the premium quality of all Rehau’s products.”
