New business wins create new roles

A Staffordshire window company has created four new jobs after winning £1million worth of business.

Target Windowshas hired a contracts manager, admin assistant and showroom assistant over the past few weeks and is currently looking for an order processor to join the team.

Director Guy Basnett said: “It’s been an exciting year for Team Target and we’d like to thank our customers for their continuing support. We have won nearly £1million worth of business in the first six months of this year, which has enabled us to further expand.”

Target Windows has just begun installing bespoke PVCU doors in bird enclosures at Chester Zoo following another contract win. The firm has also become a key supplier for charity The Dogs Trust and has installed specialised doors at kennels across the UK.

The work with The Dogs Trust has led to a new addition to the Basnett family in the form of Razor, a German Shepherd.

“We were at Kenilworth Dogs Trust having a site visit when I saw him out of the corner of my eye – I texted my wife, Jane, and within a couple of weeks he has ended up at home,” Guy said. “He just gave me the look and he’s now settled with our other dogs.”
