Milwood Group has appointed Daniel Royston as projects manager, who brings insight and expertise from previous roles in distribution and stock management, the company said.
Daniel’s main focus will be managing Milwood’s bespoke projects from order right through to manufacture and then delivery.
Daniel said: “It’s clear to see just how passionate and ambitious the team is, so I’m looking forward to adding my skills to that team to aid the workflow of the business and introduce new systems and processors to deliver a greater service for Milwood customers.”
Mark Wood, managing director of the Milwood Group, said: “Daniel will be a great asset as we continue to scale-up and provide shelter solutions to even more trade customers across the UK. Coming from outside the industry means Daniel can add a fresh set of eyes to our operation, while his background and degree in carpentry means he understands the manufacturing side of the business which is really important.”
The investment in new staff follows a successful 12 months for the Milwood Group. Not only has the firm become the sole UK supplier of bioclimatic pergolas from French manufacturer Solisysteme, it has also developed Simplicity 6, its new multi-purpose veranda system.
